Corporate Sponsorship
At General Mills, we believe we have a responsibility to support our community. That's why we are proud sponsors of and contributors to many educational, social, health and cultural programs, including Concerned Children's Advertisers, Breakfast Club of Canada, and Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada.
We are also very committed to helping improve the nutrition and fitness behaviours of families and children. Our Champions for Healthy Kids Grant program is just one way we are supporting organizations that promote active, healthy lifestyles to Canadian youth.
Champions for Healthy Kids
General Mills Canada launched the Champions For Healthy Kids Grant Program in 2006. The goal of the General Mills Champions for Healthy Kids grants program is to encourage communities across Canada to improve the eating and physical activity patterns of young people ages 2 - 20.
Funding priorities for the Champions Grant program will be registered charitable organizations that work in the areas of youth fitness and nutrition.
Twenty-five grants of up to $5000.00 will be awarded across Canada each year.
